Affiliate Organizations
A group effort
Though Indiana Landmarks operates nine offices around the state, we can’t be everywhere at once. That’s why we work to help organize and strengthen local preservation groups to work as partners in preserving Indiana’s heritage.
Some local preservation groups choose to join forces with Indiana Landmarks in a formal way by becoming affiliate organizations. Affiliates enjoy special organizational benefits as members of Indiana Landmarks.
To find affiliate organizations and other preservation groups in your area, see the Indiana Preservation Directory.
Affiliate organization benefits
Affiliate Council
The Affiliate Council brings together members of affiliate groups to exchange information, ideas, and experience. The twice-yearly meetings convene in historic venues and feature speakers on preservation-related topics. The Affiliate Council chair represents affiliate organizations as a member on Indiana Landmarks’ board of directors. For more information about the Affiliate Program, contact Suzanne Stanis, 800-450-4534, 317-639-4534 or sstanis@indianalandmarks.org.
