Other ways you can help save historic places
- Join your local preservation organization. More than 70 local groups are affiliates of Indiana Landmarks, supporting grassroots preservation.
- Become an advocate. Let your community’s leaders know how important historic structures are. Encourage preservation as a tool to enrich and enhance neighborhoods and communities.
- Shop downtown. Support local Main Street businesses and independent merchants whenever you can.
- Enjoy historic places! Whether it’s dining in a restaurant or taking in the latest show, choose historic venues for an experience that can’t be duplicated by chains or franchises.
