Group Tour Itineraries at French Lick & West Baden

To enhance your trip, let Indiana Landmarks suggest group activities available year-round at the historic hotels or a customized itinerary featuring sites and activities that will appeal to your group’s special interest. The following suggestions combine other attractions in the immediate area. We can also offer longer itineraries that include historic attractions along your travel route or day trips from French Lick and West Baden Springs.

Sample itineraries

Twilight tour See the magnificent dome bathed in an ever-changing display of colored light, a high-tech feature of the restoration that is only visible at night.

 

Sunset cruise Follow your tour of West Baden Springs or French Lick or both with a scenic drive to Patoka Lake for a picnic dinner and a sunset cruise aboard a touring barge. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and lake water lapping at dusk on Patoka, Indiana’s second largest lake. So relaxing! (Allow 6 hours for the tour and cruise option; minimum of 25 people required. Seasonal availability.)

 

Ride the rails Following a tour of West Baden Springs or French Lick or both, head over to the historic depot in French Lick where you’ll step aboard the Indiana Railway Museum’s 1930s-era train for a 20-mile scenic trip through the Hoosier National Forest. Masked men on horseback will board and rob the train—but only if you are willing to pay extra for the thrill. (Allow 3.5 hours for the tour and train ride option [robbery optional]; minimum of 40 people required. Seasonal availability.)
