Indiana Landmarks hosts the sixth annual tour of mid-century modern homes.
Back to the Future: A Mid-Century Modern Home Tour heads to Bloomington this year, featuring five private mid-century standouts.
From a 1941 International style home to a 1969 modern box with an open-air central courtyard, the five tour homes exhibit wonderful mid-century features including open floor plans, expansive use of glass, natural materials, and integration with surrounding landscapes.
Back to the Future: A Mid-Century Modern Home Tour is co-hosted by the Indiana Modern committee of Indiana Landmarks and Bloomington Restoration, Inc., and staged with support from Visit Bloomington, the Columbus Indiana Convention & Visitors Bureau, Axis Architecture + Interiors, the Bloomington Historic Preservation Commission, and Scott Owens RE/MAX Realty.
Tickets: Tour tickets are $12/person in advance, $15/person day of tour.
Day of tour: buy tickets (and pick up handout) at Bloomington’s First United Church, 2420 E. 3rd St.
