Meaningful Places Photo Exhibition opens July 15
Indiana Landmarks joins Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art (iMOCA) to celebrate Hoosier places that have meaning—personal, communal, visual, artistic, historic, or natural. The juried exhibition Meaningful Places features 30 photographs by 21 Indiana artists from across the state.
Meaningful Places opens to the public on July 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Treasure Hunt, an indoor and outdoor antiques and architectural salvage market on Indiana Landmarks’ campus, paired with food trucks and 40+ yard sales in the surrounding Old Northside neighborhood.
The show remains open for the IDADA First Friday gallery show and reception on August 4, 6-9 p.m., when prizes will be awarded to the artists based on popular votes cast at Treasure Hunt. The show is in Rapp Family Gallery at Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis.
These events are free and open to the public.
