Grab a beer and explore one of Indianapolis’s most beloved buildings on Indiana Landmarks’ adults-only tours of the historic Athenaeum, built as Das Deutsche Haus in the 1890s as a clubhouse for German immigrants. Sample traditional German fare, participate in fun activities, and see hidden spaces as you learn about this amazing building.
Tickets cost $30/general public, $25/Indiana Landmarks member and are adults 21+ only, with food and beverage (One beverage – a pint of beer or a soft drink – and three pre-selected appetizers) from the Rathskeller Restaurant included. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dietary preferences.
Indiana Landmarks proudly presents this experience in partnership with the Athenaeum Foundation. Tours last approximately 75 minutes and depart from the entrance to the Rathskeller Restaurant.

Parking: Paid parking is available at metered spots on the street or at the Old National Centre lot at 501 Alabama Street.
