November 9, 2024

10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST
The Reid Center, 1004 North A St., Richmond, IN 47374

When it comes to communications and marketing for many small nonprofits, it can be difficult to know where to start. However, creating a simple communications plan can help guide your marketing throughout the year so it doesn’t become an afterthought. On November 9, join fellow Indiana Landmarks’ affiliates for an interactive workshop on building a communications plan with storytelling. Led by nonprofit marketing expert Emily Heck of Evergreen Strategic Communications, we’ll first focus on how to organize a communications plan and assess potential communication channels. Then we’ll look at how to create content and share stories. Attendees will be given a template to begin building an outline of their plan during the workshop.

Following the presentation, connect with your fellow affiliate members by sharing your successes and solving challenges together during an afternoon roundtable session. Then, enjoy a tour of the Reid Center featuring a stunning interior and stained glass windows designed by New York’s Tiffany Studios.
