Indianapolis Holiday Open House
Join fellow Indiana Landmarks members for refreshments and holiday cheer at our Holiday Open House in Indianapolis.
December 11, 2025
5 to 7 p.m. EST
North United Methodist Church, 3808 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46208
Join fellow Indiana Landmarks members for refreshments and holiday cheer at our Holiday Open House in Indianapolis, one of four festive open houses we’re offering around the state.
Designed by Charles Hopson, one of America’s foremost church architects, North United Methodist’s 1931 Gothic Revival-style church was notably constructed during the Depression and completed without a mortgage. Today, the congregation takes pride in its “strong social conscience” and conducts many forward-thinking social programs. In 2024, the church received a $250,000 grant from Indiana Landmarks’ Sacred Places Indiana Fund to address masonry repairs and halt water infiltration into the church’s soaring sanctuary and 1951 education wing.
Note on Accessibility: North United Methodist Church is accessible to all. For more information, please contact central@indianalandmarks.org.
Feel like traveling? Indiana Landmarks’ Indianapolis Holiday Open House is one of four—go to one or all: December 3 at the Odd Fellows Building in Salem, December 9 at the Poledor House in South Bend, and December 16 at the Linwood House in Valparaiso.
