Treasure Hunt LogoIndiana Landmarks and the Old Northside sponsor Treasure Hunt, an antiques market—indoors and outside at Indiana Landmarks Center (1201 Central Ave.) and on the lawn at adjacent Morris-Butler House (1204 N. Park St.)—with more than 40 yard sales in the surrounding historic district.

You’ll find booths of antiques, collectibles and architectural salvage in a festival atmosphere, with roving entertainment and food to keep up your strength for hitting the yard sales throughout the Old Northside, including All Saints Episcopal Church’s annual Big, Big, Really Big Sidewalk Sale at 16th and Central.

Pick up a Treasure Hunt map at Indiana Landmarks Center that outlines the antiques vendors and food choices—food trucks on 12th Street, and outdoor Grog ‘n Grill at Morris-Butler’s courtyard (if you’re 21). The food vendors sell coffee and breakfast items in the morning and the lunch options begin at 10:30 a.m.

If you have kids, check out various roving entertainers throughout the day and children’s area offering crafts and architectural activities.

The antiques market is free from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For $5, you can come in at 8 a.m. to get first pick from the vendors on Indiana Landmarks’ campus. Register online for the early-bird entry at huntearlybird18.eventbrite.com or just show up!
