For its First Friday show in May, Indiana Landmarks features the newly announced 10 Most Endangered, with artistic illustrations that show how each site might look restored. The 10 Most Endangered show opens May 5, 6-9 p.m., in Rapp Family Gallery at Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis.

Visitors will also find photographs of the ten sites in their current condition, and text explaining their significance and the threats they face. On one wall, viewers can record suggestions for how to save one or all ten places.

Since 1991, demolition has claimed only 16 of the 10 Most Endangered—important historic places in severe jeopardy.

During the First Friday opening, 6-9 p.m., visitors can also tour Indiana Landmarks Center. Built as a Methodist church in the nineteenth century, the adapted structure holds theaters and a reception hall in addition to the gallery and Indiana Landmarks’ headquarters.
