Indiana Waterways: The Art of Conservation

Five Hoosier artists depict Indiana’s waterways, highlighting the need for conservation and restoration.

Five Hoosier artists present their depictions of Indiana waterways in a traveling exhibit designed to call attention to the need for conservation and restoration of the state’s rivers, streams, and tributaries. First shown at the Indiana State Museum in 2022, the exhibit has been displayed at various locations across the state, culminating in a final exhibit and auction at Indiana Landmarks Center on May 4 at 1 p.m. hosted by Wickliff Auctioneers.

Participating artists include John Kelty of Fort Wayne, Curtis Stanfield of Rosedale, Avon Waters of Converse, and brothers Dan and Tom Woodson of Muncie, displaying works in oil, watercolor, and pastels.
