On Saturday, April 25, Indiana Landmarks’ annual Rescue Party returns in an updated format to celebrate A Century of Progress with a glamorous evening inspired by Chicago’s iconic 1933-34 World’s Fair.

Join us to applaud restoration of the experimental Century of Progress homes transported to Indiana after the fair, savor inventive takes on food, cocktails, and music channeling the spirit of the era, and raise funds for Indiana’s endangered places.

Exclusive Experiences & Getaways

Rescue Party guests will have access to purchase or win exclusive experiences and getaways:

  • Bid in our silent auction on a variety of unforgettable experiences featuring historic locales across the state, including a five-night getaway at the restored Cypress Log Cabin, one of five fair exhibit houses now located within Indiana Dunes National Park in the Century of Progress Historic District.
  • Register for exclusive House of Tomorrow Cocktail or Brunch Experiences (to be staged this September in conjunction with Indiana Landmarks’ annual Century of Progress Home Tour).
  • Opportunity to purchase specially reserved tickets for Indiana Landmarks’ annual Century of Progress Home Tour this September. (Limited quantity available.)

The restored Cypress Log Cabin is one of Century of Progress World’s Fair exhibit houses located within Indiana Dunes National Park.

Celebrating Meaningful Places

During the party, guest can check out interactive salons with displays on the Chicago World’s Fair, the futuristic House of Tomorrow, and Indiana Landmarks’ 10 Most Endangered list. The night then builds to a memorable finale featuring the gala premiere of a brand-new short film capturing the remarkable 30‑year journey to save and restore the legendary House of Tomorrow.

Rescue Party benefits Indiana Landmarks’ Endangered Places Program, offering grants, loans, advocacy, and strategy to help save historic structures and revitalize Hoosier communities.
