Scholarship Application
Indiana Landmarks’ Black Heritage Preservation Program will award one $20,000 scholarship for education-related expenses for the 2023-24 school year. Qualified expenses include tuition, books, room and board, and technology. To apply, please complete and submit the following form by May 12, 2023.
Application requirements
Indiana-resident students attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university may apply for Indiana Landmarks’ Black Heritage Preservation Program scholarship.
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, graduate student, or post-graduate who identifies as Black or African American. Applicants may apply for both the scholarship and internship, but only one opportunity will be granted.
Preference will be given to the following majors: History, Public History, African/African American Studies, Archaeology/Anthropology, Preservation, Conservation, City Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Journalism.
