Learn if your historic house of worship qualifies for the Sacred Places Indiana Fund grant program during a one-hour informational webinar discussing the fund’s 2026 application process.

Sacred Places Indiana, a program of Indiana Landmarks, supported by funding from Lilly Endowment Inc., offers grants to assist congregations that have identified significant repair needs at their historic houses of worship and are prepared to raise matching funds through a capital campaign.

During the webinar on February 19, attendees will hear from Sacred Places Indiana staff on topics such as Sacred Places Indiana Fund eligibility, how to raise matching funds, types of projects considered, attributes of successful congregations, timelines required for project completion, and information on the application and evaluation process.

Applications for the Sacred Places Indiana Fund grant program will be accepted through June 15, 2026. If invited to participate in the program, congregations will have the opportunity to apply for planning grants up to $25,000 and capital grants up to $500,000.
