FLAVA FRESH, an annual juried exhibition series featuring newly-discovered, underrepresented, emerging and early-career visual artists, presents a First Friday show on September 1 at Indiana Landmarks Center’s Rapp Family Gallery.

On August 17 at the Indiana State Fair, Tim and Beth Sheets will receive the 2017 Arnold Award for Rural Preservation honoring their Howard County alpaca farm.

Media are invited on a “before” tour of the Coca-Cola bottling plant that Hendricks Commercial Properties will reinvent as Bottleworks, with apartments, restaurants, retail shops, movie theaters, and a boutique hotel.

On August 18 and 19, Indiana Landmarks hosts Reviving Baptisttown, a workshop and tour examining the area’s heritage, and how harnessing history can help revive African American places across the state.

History comes alive on August 26, September 16.

The juried exhibition features 30 photographs by 21 Indiana artists from across the state.

Step back in time and meet costumed characters from the historic hotel’s colorful past.

You can buy an antique table, a used stroller, a contemporary artist’s photograph, learn to juggle, grab a beer and a brat, or sip tea in a Victorian setting, all at Treasure Hunt on Saturday, July 15.

On Aug. 12, Indiana Landmarks stages a tour of the former Coca-Cola building in Indianapolis before Hendricks Commercial Properties redevelops the property as apartments, retail shops, movie theater, and boutique hotel.
